Susan's Daily Tips

Dutch Babies
(a German Pancake)
Dutch Babies


Ingredients:

2 T butter
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
Dash salt
1/4 tsp nutmeg
2 cups strawberries, sliced
Confectioners sugar
Vanilla yogurt or sour cream

Directions:

Melt the butter in a pie plate in a 425 degree oven.

Beat eggs and milk together. Add the flour, salt and nutmeg. Mix well.

Remove pie plate from oven and pour mixture into it. Bake 15 minutes.

Remove from oven and slice in half. Top with strawberries, sprinkle with sugar. Add a dollop of yogurt or sour cream.
