Susan's Daily Tips

Fountain Treats
Soda Fountain Drinks

Here are a few of the more recent homemade fountain favorites making the rounds. Try them, you might like them.

PURPLE COW FLOAT vanilla ice cream and grape juice.

CHERRY COLA FLOAT cherry ice cream and cola.

BLACK AND WHITE SODA chocolate syrup, seltzer water, or club soda, and vanilla ice cream.

BROWN COW SODA root beer, seltzer water or club soda, and vanilla ice cream.

BLACK COW SODA cola, seltzer water or club soda, and vanilla ice cream.

BUTTERMILK VANILLA SHAKE buttermilk and vanilla ice cream.

CHOCOLATE MALTED
2 large scoops vanilla ice cream
1 cup milk
1 to 2 tablespoon malted milk powder
1/4 cup chocolate syrup

Combine all ingredients and mix well in a blender.

CHOCOLATE SODA
4 tablespoons chocolate syrup
Seltzer water or club soda
2 scoops chocolate ice cream
Whipped cream

Put syrup in the bottom of a tall glass. Add a fine stream of seltzer water or club soda to fill glass two-thirds full. Add ice cream; finish with more soda. Top with whipped cream.

CHOCOLATE PEANUT SHAKE
3 tablespoons chocolate syrup
1 tablespoon peanut butter
Milk
1 scoop vanilla ice cream

Put syrup and peanut butter into a shaker. Fill with cold milk; shake vigorously. Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Or, put all ingredients into a blender. Process until smooth.
