Grandma's Tea Cakes

Sue - from Wallace, NC - remembers her favorite childhood food memory - My Grandmother make the best teacakes in the world. She would always have some ready when I got home from school. Her house was closer to the school than my home was and since we walked to and from school I would always go to her house instead of my own. My friends soon learned about her famous teacakes and I always had a friend to enjoy the teacakes with each afternoon. There was nothing better than hot teacakes and ice cold milk. Thanks Sue.. what a sweet Grandma.. and what a great memory. I sure bet you had alot of "friends"... Here's a Tea Cake favorite... Granna
