- 4 - 2 1/2" squares (color A) = Unit 1
- 4 - right triangles sewn finishing at 2 1/2" squares (color A and B)..
(simple construction method below) = Unit 2

- 1 - 2 1/2" Square (color B) = Unti 3

To Construct right triangles:
Cut 2 - 2 7/8" x 5 3/4" - one color A and one color B. Place right sides together. Lightly draw a center line creating two 2 7/8" squares. Lightly draw diagonal lines dividing these two squares in half
Stitch 1/4" seams on each side of the lightly drawn lines
Cut rectangle in half on center line
Cut each square in half on the diagonal lines
Open, Press = 4 - 2 1/2" squares ( Unit 2's)!!

To Construct Block:

= Unit 2 + Unit 1+ Unit 2 (tip right 45°)
= Unit 1 + Unit 3 + Unit 1
= Unit 2 (tip left 45°) + Unit 1 + Unit 2 (tip left 90°)
